Download Imessage For Macbook Pro 10.6.8

Macbook

I am trying to upgrade my early 2011 MacBook Pro to High Sierra. I reinstalled Mac OS X 10.6.8, I was previously using Ubuntu, but now when I go to the App Store to download El Capitan (used as a stepping stone to get to High Sierra) and click 'GET' nothing happens. Nothing happens when I try to download other apps either.

I've already done some basic troubleshooting. I restarted my MacBook and signed out of my Apple ID and then back in.

Guys, I'm here again after 8 years running my good ol' build which it is still running smooth until today without any fuss. Sadly when iTunes, browsers and now Dropbox has stop to support 10.6.8 machine, I guess it's time for an upgrade. So yeah, back to the thread topic; Is it possible to. Mac users interested in Mozilla firefox 48.0 for mac 10.6.8 generally download: Firefox 81.0 Free Firefox is one of the most popular web browsers on the market, providing numerous helpful features and quick speed to millions of users worldwide.

Here's a link to the version of El Capitan I'm trying to download:
